A delegation from Punjab Traffic Police led by SP City Muhammad Shahzad visited PITB headquarters at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP) to attend a meeting chaired by Senior Program Manager (SPM) Rai Rashid. Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Mustansir Feroz PSP joined the session via video link.
During the meeting, the PITB team briefed him about how the digital payment solution will facilitate the citizens as well as increase transparency in the system. Candidates will be saved from visiting banks, courts and post offices to get the required tickets. This will further help in eliminating fake/bogus tickets.
The discussion was followed by a visit to Arfa Tower Licensing Center where Project Lead Muhammad Mamoon Sharif briefed the guests on the processes and how these will reduce delivery time and improve convenience for the citizens.
