Representatives from PITB, Quaid-e-Azam Academy for Educational Development (QAED) and British Council held an overview meeting to share the progress and milestones achieved since the launch of the English as a Subject for Teachers and Educators (EaSTE) project.
PITB IT-Solutions team briefed the participants over recent EaSTE training progress and future execution plan. Officials from British Council outlined the current challenges being faced by EaSTE stakeholders. Meanwhile, the Monitoring and Evaluation team from Akademos discussed the evaluated outcomes of EaSTE training on Module 1 and shared the feedback.
All the stakeholders also discussed the importance of devising exclusive training plans to up-skill the English learning and fostering skills of educational professionals and the way forward. The meeting was attended by Secretary School Education Department Faisal Fareed, Special Secretary, Special Secretary School Education Department Kalsoom Saqib, British Council Head of English Programmes Talha Chishti, PITB IT-Solutions DG Waqar Naeem Qureshi, QAED DG Allah Rakha Anjum along with their respective teams.
