A delegation from Saudi based organization Unifonic visited PITB to explore various areas of collaborations and investments in the ICT industry across Punjab. Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf gave a comprehensive overview of ICT initiatives rolled out by PITB provincewide and those replicated by other provinces.
The delegates particularly discussed possible areas of collaborations in the fields e-Governance and Automation, Supporting Businesses, Citizen Centric Services and Knowledge Economy.
Senior officials from PITB including DG e-Governance Sajid Latif, DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi, DG Business Development & Training Saima Shaikh and Director Muhammad Jahanzeb Akbar were also present.
