PITB and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) Police had a project review meeting to discuss the progress of ongoing ICT initiatives implemented in collaboration with PITB. The online meeting was particularly held with the GB Computerization of Police Station (CPS) team and was chaired by DIG IT GB Hanif Ullah Khan. CPS PD Asim Iqbal, PITB's SPM Rai Rashid, SPM Crime Analytics Abrar ul Haq and SSE Mamoon Sharif were among the key attendees.
PITB representatives from the IT-Operations team updated the attendees on the progress of the systems namely Driving License Issuance Management System (DLIMS), Police Station Record Management System (PSRMS), Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS), and Criminal Record Office (CRO).
PITB team also addressed their queries and updated DIG IT on the progress of the projects that are underway. DIG IT praised PITB for its support and cooperation and discussed the way forward.
