PITB conducted a comprehensive training session on Biometric Attendance System developed under the ADP Scheme titled ‘Strengthening Services, Access & Management of Family Planning Programme in Punjab’ (BAS-SAM) for District Population Welfare Officers (DPWOs) of Population Welfare Department (PWD). PWD's focal person Fahad Rasool was also present.
PITB Program Officer Waseem Nawaz and Assistant Program Officer Iqra Asad delivered the training on the BAS-SAM Web Portal and Android Application developed by PITB for employees of Population Welfare Department.
The system aims at transforming the traditional process by introducing paperless work culture. It will also enable the department in monitoring the attendance through a hassle-free process.
