Secretary Agriculture Iftikhar Ali Sahoo and Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf had a meeting on the ICT interventions related to the Cotton Revival Plan for Punjab FY 2023-24.
Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf shared detailed insights into the various IT interventions with special focus on the ‘Farmers integrated database,’ ‘Key Performance Indicators (KPI) based Extension Services Monitoring System’ and ‘Crop Surveillance Through Satellite Imagery.’
Senior officials including DG Agriculture Extension Dr. Anjum Buttar, Additional Secretary (Task Force) Shabbir Ahmad Khan and PITB’s CTO Adil Iqbal, Director Ali Raza Kheiri and Joint Director Usman Waheed were also present in the meeting.
