PITB organized a training session on Digital Warden App for the Punjab Highway Police (PHP) officers of the Multan, Bahawalpur and Dera Ghazi Khan regions.
The training session held in Multan was meant for the PHP officers of the region and comprised senior officials as well. SP PHP Multan Huma Naseeb, SP PHP Bahawalpur Muazmmil Hussan and SP PHP DG Khan Shareef Jutt as well as DSPs of Khanewal, Sahiwal, Pakpattan, Bahawalnagar, Muzafargarh and Layyah were among the attendees.
PITB Senior Program Manager Rai Rashid along with Senior Software Engineer Mamoon Sharif and Programme Officer Saad Ullah Shah gave a detailed briefing on the application while emphasizing its benefits and functionality to improve road safety. The attendees will now be training other officers of their region.
An initiative of PITB, the Digital Warden App, is a move towards a corruption-free and paperless work environment. It is already successfully operational across Punjab.
