PITB has organized a two-day training session for the Sindh Police Officers of the National Police Academy. The purpose of the training is to familiarize the officers with the ICT interventions falling under the umbrella of smart policing.
PITB Senior Program Manager Rai Rashid gave a detailed overview of the initiatives related to maintaining law and order and how smart policing is enabling the Punjab Police in curbing crime effectively.
Team member from PITB IT-Operations wing Muhammad Raza gave a hands-on training to the participants to acquaint them with two of the key systems developed by PITB. The delegation also visited the Data Center for a briefing on Information Security Procedures.
The training session concluded with an Appreciation Shield Distribution ceremony in which PITB ADG Syed Qasim Ifzal gave the shields to the team members including SPM Rai Rashid, Lead Trainers Mamoon Sharif and Muhammad Raza and Program Officer Zeeshan Mudassir. Certificates of Participation were given to the attendees.
