A delegation Special Branch Punjab Police visited PITB to discuss the National Status Verification of Pakistani citizens abroad as part of Police Khidmat Markaz (PKM) Global. This status is verified based on the data of a citizen provided by the Pakistani embassy abroad in the foreign country of residence.
The core purpose of the meeting was to discuss the upgrading of the existing system, which would include a designated Login for users categorized by their Districts of origin. The aim of this decentralized approach is to expedite the verification process and ensure accuracy.
The delegation from Special Branch included Assistant Director IT Special Branch Akbar Ahmed Hussain, Senior Software Engineer Ali Shahzad Naqi and the IT Officer.
PITB representatives from the IT Operations wing including Programme Officers Muhammad Zeeshan Mudassir and Saad Ullah Shah along with Senior Software Engineer Muhammad Shahzad were present at the meeting.
