A group of officers from the Foreign Services of Pakistan undergoing special training as part of the 43rd Specialized Diplomatic Course visited PITB to get acquainted with ICT initiatives rolled out by the Punjab IT board provincewide. The delegation was presided by Director Programme Fozia Fayyaz Ahmad.
DG IT-Solutions Waqar Naeem Qureshi and DG e-Governance Sajid Latif briefed the delegation on the major IT initiatives executed by PITB and how they have supported the government in ensuring transparency by enhancing public service delivery. Other senior officials from PITB including Additional Director General Syed Qasim Ifzal and Additional Director General Khurram Mushtaq highlighted the initiatives related to Automation, Citizen-Centric Services, Law and Order and Health.
