A delegation from Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) visited PITB headquarters at Arfa Software Technology Park (ASTP) to attend a progress review meeting on e-Filing and Office Automation System (e-FOAS). The meeting was presided over by PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf. PIA DGM IT Irfan Ayub, PIA GM IT Mihammad Shoaib and Saqlain Gardaizi were among the visiting delegation. PITB DG Government Digital Services Muhammad Waseem Bhatti was also present on the occasion.
Through e-FOAS, PITB intends at transforming the conventional paperwork into a completely paperless environment at PIA. The implementation of e-FOAS will enhance PIA's efficiency by maintaining instantaneous internal/external communication, task management, improved transparency and reduced office expenditures.
