PITB organized a launching and training session for PITB developed Health Module of the Pakistan Animal Identification & Traceability System (PAITS). Dr. Afzal (FMD Management Specialist) from FAO explained the purpose and benefits of the PAITS system. PITB IT-Operations team briefed the attendees participating from across Pakistan about the Health Module functionalities and gave a live demonstration of the system as well.
Senior officials including DG Research Dr. Sajjad, DG Extension Dr. Shahid Iqbal from Livestock and Dairy Development Department, Dr. Asim Mahmood Khan Chairman PLDDB, National Consultant of FAO Dr. Naveed Niazi, and PITB’s ADG Khurran Mushtaq and Director Ali Raza Kheiri were also present.
