Motorway and Highway Police has now been updated with android smartphones and tablets incorporated with the e-ticketing application devised by PITB. All devices are interlinked with each other as well as with police officers’ printers via Bluetooth. The system is also connected to PITB’s main server through 3G service. The sole purpose of the initiative is to reduce corruption and facilitate commuters, efficiently.
