PITB along with Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT) had a meeting with Consultant from USAID/BOI (Board of Investment) Amir Qawi to identify business investment opportunities to strengthen the local IT industry.
The meeting comprised PITB representatives from Bizlinks wing including Director Jahanzeb Akbar and Joint Director Mudassar Paracha as well as PBIT Assistant Manager Policy Engr. Syed Mafaz Ahsan.
PITB team gave a detailed overview of PITB initiated ICT interventions rolled out across Punjab and those implemented in other provinces. The attendees also discussed possible areas of collaboration and discussed the way forward to attract foreign exchange through the IT Industry.
