In another round of meetings, representatives from PITB, Punjab Board of Investment & Trade (PBIT) and Consultant from USAID/BOI (Board of Investment) Amir Qawi met to further identify business investment opportunities.
The meeting comprised PITB representatives from BizLinks wing including Director Jahanzeb Akbar and Joint Director Mudassar Paracha as well as PBIT Assistant Manager Policy Engr. Syed Mafaz Ahsan.
The guests also met PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif to discuss potential areas of collaboration in the fields of e-Governance & Automation and Knowledge Economy (Youth Empowerment). PITB Freelancing wing Joint Director Chaudhary Ahmed Islam was also present.
Overall, the purpose of the meeting was to explore ways to attract foreign investment in the areas in question and strengthen the local IT Industry.
