Punjab Minister for Energy, Industries, Commerce, Investment & Skill Development (ICI&SD) SM Tanveer visited the PITB to hold a meeting with PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf and get acquainted with various IT initiatives rolled out by PITB across the province.
Chairman Faisal Yousaf visiting delegates on the key PITB initiatives in different governance domains, including the projects in pipeline. The minister showed keen interest in the PITB portfolio and shared some suggestions. He also lauded PITB for its role in digitizing governance, facilitating both officials and citizens. Both sides also discussed the recently launched BizLinks initiative and pledged to support the local IT industry.
PITB Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Adil Iqbal Khan, Additional Director General (ADG) Khurram Mushtaq, Director Badar Munir, Joint Director Usman Waheed and GIS Expert Maria Badar were also present on the occasion.
