A delegation from the World Economic Forum (WEF) visited PITB to explore collaborative opportunities regarding Digital Foreign Direct Investment.
The WEF delegation, led by the Head of Investment Policy and Practice International Trade and Investment Matthew Stephenson, engaged in productive discussions with PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif and his team. The focus of the discussions centered around the implementation of the Digital Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) initiative, aimed at boosting foreign direct investment in the digital economy.
Both parties explored possible avenues of partnership to establish IT-centric initiatives that would facilitate the inflow of foreign exchange and contribute to the growth of Pakistan's digital landscape.
This collaboration between WEF and PITB holds the potential to open new doors and foster economic growth in the digital realm.
