Through the e-Credit initiative of PITB for the Punjab Agriculture Department, the government is supporting farmers in reducing the cost of production and increase the availability of credit and loans as well as provide easy access to financing for SMEs through bank branches across the province. To date, PKR 71 Billion have been disbursed among 2,75,000 farmers in Punjab via e-Credit Scheme.
