PITB team attended a meeting chaired by Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal (SW&BM) Director General (DG) Muddassir Riaz Malik at his office. Punjab Bait-ul-Maal Ameen Jubair Ghani was also present in the meeting.
The meeting was convened with the primary objective to monitor progress for the upcoming launch of two initiatives for Services of Deprived Persons. The first initiative, #enabled, aims at providing assistive devices and equipment to the Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) with the contribution of donors. For this initiative registration of donors is in process. The second initiative is the Automation of Bait-ul-Maal. PITB and SW&BM are working on creating a user friendly portal for online application for Bait-ul-Maal funds through a transparent and first come first serve basis.
