Special Secretary Agriculture Marketing Kalsume Hai held a project review meeting on the development of the upcoming Market Committee Management Information System (MCMIS). DG Punjab Agricultural Marketing Regulatory Authority (PAMRA) Tariq Mahmood was also present.
The purpose of the meeting was to assess the progress and strategic direction of this transformative project and was attended by representatives from PITB and the Agriculture Department.
PITB JD Usman Waheed presented a comprehensive overview of the MCMIS project while outlining its objectives, current status and future milestones. The Special Secretary appreciated PITB for its continuous support in the automation of the department and directed to pilot the project across 5 Market Committees in the 1st phase.
