A project review meeting was held regarding PITB developed Irrigation Revenue Collection System (IRCS) previously known as e-Abiana. The meeting, chaired by Deputy Secretary General Rao Muhammad Sohail Akhtar, was held at the Punjab Irrigation Department.
PITB JD Malik Usman Waheed and team members from PITB IT-Operations gave a brief on the new upgrades of the system. The progress on the development of other IRCS modules including Non-Irrigation use of Canal water and e-Effluent was also discussed. They also gave a briefing on the development status of 'Lumberdar' and 'Wasil Baqi' roles to be incorporated in IRCS.
