A zoom meeting, presided by PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif, was held with the officials from Bank of Punjab (BOP) to discuss enhancing the payment channels by 360 degrees for better public service delivery regarding e-Stamping.
Group Head Staff and Strategic Initiatives BOP Nofel Daud gave a detailed overview of BOP's integration with MasterCard to develop 360-degree payment channels, including POSs, QR codes, links, kiosks, and over the counter payments. The cash counter at BOP will be equipped with POS Machines to accommodate the public's e-Stamping payments via debit or credit cards.
During the meeting DG e-Governance Sajid Latif said that PITB will provide technical expertise in all aspects as required. In addition to PITB Director e-Stamping Hammad Hasan Hamdani and JD e-Stamping Haider Ali, BOP's Head Sales Transaction Banking Amir Dar and Head Cards Asim Qureshi were also present.
