PITB along with the national consultants from Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) conducted a training and demonstration session regarding Pakistan Animal Identification & Traceability System (PAITS) at the Royal JW Buffalo Disease Free Farm Sheikhupura, Khanqah Dogran.
The participants also included the directors and field officers from the livestock department. The focus of this activity was to acquaint the attendees with the system and discuss its benefits at large. A test run for the field staff was also arranged to give them maximum hands-on exposure to the system.
