Punjab Job Center, a collaborative effort of PITB & Labor & Human Resources Department (L&HRD), signed an MoU with University of Management and Technology (UMT) for collaborative efforts to improve employment prospects for students and graduates. The MoU was signed by PITB SPM Shams-ul-Islam and UMT School of System & Technology Dean Dr Atif Alvi.
As per the MoU, a number of internship programs and job fairs will be conducted allowing students to connect with potential employers and explore various career paths. There will be numerous opportunities regarding implementation of skill development and specialized training initiatives to enhance the abilities of students in areas that are in high demand. Moreover, the collaboration is aimed at bridging the gap between academic education and industry requirements.
