PITB recently conducted a series of comprehensive trainings across various districts of Punjab to streamline and enhance the Persons with Disabilities (PWD) Services App. The purpose of this activity was to promote and register users for the PWD Services App. This APP, developed by PITB, is providing unified solutions for PWDs.
Awareness sessions as part of the trainings were also conducted in districts Kasur, Khushab, Mianwali, Chiniot, Sialkot and Sargodha. These were attended by the Deputy Directors, Disability Certificate Issuance Staff, TAB (Tehsil Assessment Board) SWO/MSO (Social Welfare Officer/Medical Welfare Officer) and Focal Persons of Special Schools.
The trainings were delivered by PITB Disabled Persons Management Information System (DPMIS) team members Adnan Javed, Waqar Ali, Hina Batool, Faiza Saleem and Usman Ahmed.
