The Local Government & Community Development Department (LG&CD), in collaboration with PITB, successfully launched a pilot project of 'e-Auction MIS (Management Information System) for the auctioning of 'Advertisement Fee Rights under the Auction for Collection Rights Rules of 2017. The auction was held at the Municipal Committee Sheikhupura.
PITB representatives Senior Program Manager Mariam Zaib and Program Manager Arsalan Aziz from Information Technology Based Monitoring System (ITBMS) team gave a hands-on training to contractors participating in the auction. The purpose of this training was to familiarize them with the system and ensure its smooth functioning. To ensure security and legitimacy in this process, it is mandatory for contractors or participants to register and verify their identities.
e-Auction MIS assists registered contractors to sign in and submit their bids online through a hassle-free process. It also aims at promoting fairness and transparency in the bidding procedures. Additionally, it provides real-time updates on the ongoing auctions, which is accessible to all.
