The Local Government & Community Development Department (LG&CD), in collaboration, with PITB recently launched the flagship project of LG&CD Department 'Ub Gaon Chamkay Gey.'
PITB, as part of this initiative, has developed an App for the LG&CD Department to monitor the success of the activities rolled out under this project. Since its launch on August 14th 2023, over 4000 Union Councils, 20,000+ villages and more than 22,000 solid waste activities have been successfully executed.
Furthermore, PITB also held a training session to ensure effective utilization of the application and project monitoring. The training was conducted at Town Hall Lahore by PITB representatives, including Senior Program Manager Mariam Zaib and Program Manager Arsalan Aziz, from Information Technology Based Monitoring System (ITBMS) team. PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif was also present.
The training was delivered to the Divisional Directors, Deputy Directors and Additional Directors of Local Governments from across Punjab.
