PITB held an online training to acquaint the Senior Network Administrative (SNAs) with the 'Ub Gaon Chamkay Gey' system. The training was delivered to SNAs from across Punjab by representatives from PITB IT Based Monitoring System (ITBMS) wing.
ITBMS Senior Program Manager Mariam Zaib gave detailed demo of the App and web portal and addressed their concerns and queries. The overall purpose of the training was to ensure effective utilization and monitoring of 'Ub Gaon Chamkay Gey' initiative.
'Ub Gaon Chamkay Gey' is a flagship initiative of the Local Government & Community Development Department (LG&CD) launched in collaboration with PITB. Since its launch on August 14th 2023, over 4000 Union Councils, 20,000+ villages and more than 22,000 solid waste activities have been successfully executed.
