PITB and Food & Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) held a progress review meeting regarding Pakistan Animal Identification & Traceability System (PAITS). FAO FMD Management Specialist Dr. Muhammad Afzal, FAO National Consultant on Animal Traceability Dr. Naveed Niazi, PITB ADG Khurram Mushtaq, Project Director Ali Raza Kheiri and Senior Program Manager Rana Umair were present in the meeting.
The overall progress and future road map of the project were presented during the meeting. The participants agreed to continue the implementation of PAITS across Pakistan.
