Special Secretary Agriculture Marketing Punjab Kulsume Hai chaired a meeting at the Agriculture House Lahore today to evaluate the advancement and launch plan of the 'Market Committee Management Information System (MCMIS).'
The session covered a briefing on the overall progress of the software system developed by PITB. It also focused on the blueprint and training agenda for the field personnel regarding the pilot that would be rolled out in the five different 'Fruit & Vegetable Market Committees' in Punjab.
PITB JD Usman Waheed gave a comprehensive overview of the system's readiness and underscored PITB's unwavering commitment to achieving a seamless execution and timely go-live.
The Special Secretary of Agriculture Marketing Punjab praised PITB for its constant support towards the department. She also directed the officials from both departments to ensure a smooth initiation of the pilot phase in order to roll out the provincewide implementation of the project successfully soon after.
