PITB team held an online meeting with officials from Ministry of Information Technology & Telecommunication (MOIT&T) and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police where they presented cutting-edge Police IT Initiatives that are part of the "Crime Analytics & Smart Policing in Pakistan" project.
MOIT&T Joint Directors Yawar Jaleel and Nauman, Member IT Junaid Imam, PITB Project Director Rai Rashid, SPM Abrar ul Haq, PO Muhammad Ahsan and KP Police DIG IT Irfan and Director IT Naveed Gull attended the online meeting.
During the meeting, PITB highlighted various applications and services such as FIR Management System and HRMIS that are operational in multiple Provincial Police Departments across Pakistan. PITB emphasized the importance of technology in enhancing law enforcement's efficiency, transparency, and effectiveness.
KP Police Officials expressed enthusiasm about the potential of these initiatives to transform policing and make communities safer. PITB expressed gratitude to MOIT&T and KP Police for their support in advancing technology for a safer Pakistan.
