A meeting was held between PITB and the Special Branch of the Punjab Police to explore strategies for enhancing public service delivery by integrating PITB developed ICT.
Officials from Special Branch Punjab Police comprised Deputy Director Shahid Mehmood, SSP Security Umer Salamat and SSP Intelligence Muaz Zafer. Representatives from PITB included Joint Director Qaiser Shabir and Senior Program Managers Rai Rashid, Malik Abid and Mariam Zeb.
PITB team gave a detailed overview of the initiatives rolled out across Punjab. A detailed discussion was held on ICT initiatives related to charity, dengue, 'Qeemat Punjab' and 'Payzen'. The purpose of implementing them as part of the services offered by Special Branch is to improve public service delivery.
