Ministry of Human Rights Islamabad had a meeting with PITB to discuss the first-ever Unified Criminal Justice System of Pakistan. The meeting was chaired by Ministry of Human Rights Director Muhmmad Faisal along with other officials including System & Data Analyst Ishtiaq Hussain and IT Expert Awais Abbasi.
Representatives from PITB included Joint Director IT Shahzad Anwar and team members Senior Program Managers Salman Ali Khan and Qasim Tufail.
During the session, the PITB team gave a detailed overview on the systems developed by PITB for various government departments including Police, Prosecution, and the Judiciary. The team briefed the department on the criminal justice system and highlighted how it has revolutionized the overall process of the criminal cases. They also emphasized on how the system has enhanced the performance and efficiency of different stakeholder departments at the same time.
