Healthcare managers/officials were acquainted with the health-based IT initiatives devised by PITB. Saflain Haider (Joint Director, EGA), Moeen Akhtar and Farah Naheed gave a walk-through of various projects including Drug Inspection Monitoring and Evaluation, Drug Testing Laboratory, Hospital Watch, Biometrics Attendance System, Monitoring and Evaluation Assistants, Maintenance and Cleanliness System, Disease Surveillance System, Medical Inventory System and Equipment Control System.
The panel was briefed about how these projects are helping to improve the health care services for general public as well as contributing to streamline work and improve department’s performance.
