Livestock Secretary Muhammad Masoud Anwar had a progress review meeting with PITB representatives with special focus on the on-ground implementation progress of PITB developed Pakistan Animal Identification & Traceability System (PAITS).
During the meeting, PITB Director Ali Raza Kheiri and Senior Program Manager Rana Umair discussed different aspects of the system with key focus on improving its utilization and overall performance of the department.
The Livestock Secretary appreciated PITB for its support in this regard. Representatives from the Livestock Department & Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nation (FAO) were also present.
