The 4th Vice Chancellors Conference of Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education (SHC&ME) Department Punjab was recently held in which key IT initiatives rolled out across Punjab were showcased.
The conference was chaired by Minister Health Prof. Dr. Javed Akram and was attended by Secretary Ali Jan Khan and other notable officials of the department.
During the conference, PITB Director IT Nausheen Fayyaz presented the progress of Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) and emphasized the improvement being brought about by the system.
HMIS is a flagship initiative of SHC&ME and is being implemented by PITB at Tertiary Care Hospitals across Punjab.
