Asian Development Bank (ADB) Country Director Pakistan Yong Ye visited PITB to get acquainted with ICT interventions rolled out by the Government of Punjab.
On behalf of Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf, PITB DG e-Governance Sajid Latif gave a detailed presentation in the areas of e-Governance & Automation, Supporting Businesses, Knowledge Economy and Citizen Centric Services. He also discussed PITB initiatives focusing on youth empowerment and enhancing digital skills.
ADB Country Director Pakistan Yong Ye showed keen interest in PITB initiatives and discussed potential areas of collaboration focusing on Digital Infrastructure Development, e-Governance and Human Capital Development.
PITB Joint Director Chaudhry Ahmad Islam was also present. The delegation from ADB also included Lead Investigator SDPI Dr. Jordanka Tomkova, Lead Implementation Coordinator Muhammad Saeed Chaudhry, Head Centre for Private Sector Engagement SDPI Engr. Ahad Nazir, Technical Assistance Consultant Khayyam Sohail Abbasi, Senior Program Officer Lead Digital Sector Nasrum inallah Mian and Project Coordinator SDPI Abdullah Khalid.
