PITB has signed an agreement with the Mines Labour Welfare Commissionerate (MLWC), an attached department of Mines & Minerals Punjab, Lahore to spearhead IT-driven initiatives. The agreement was signed by PITB Director Atif Hussain and MLWC Deputy Director Finance Ahsan Mahmood. PITB Senior Programme Manager Abdul Rehman Qasim and Programme Manager Hassan Mujahid were also present.
This collaboration aims at automating data handling and streamlining processes within the MLWC. The primary objective of this partnership revolves around instituting reforms in the existing e-Auction System, enhancing financial management practices, and modernizing MLWC schools. Ultimately, the project endeavors to uplift service delivery standards while optimizing operational efficacy across the MLWC.
