PITB has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Intellectual Property Organization (IPO) for the digitalization and automation of IPO- Pakistan. The MoU was signed by PITB DG Business Development Saima Shaikh and IPO Pakistan DG Shazia Adnan on behalf of their respective organisations. IPO Chairman Ambassador Farukh Amil was also present on the occasion.
PITB is currently providing institutional support for digitization of IPO, which will simplify the process of IPO and make it easier for people. The Ease of Doing Business in an IPO will also be improved by the online process thus increasing the overall efficiency of the organisation.
The MoU is aimed at automating and digitising the payment collection of IPO-Pakistan via all Alternative Delivery Channels (ADC) in an efficient manner. PITB will also provide a web-based software solution named PayZen to digitize the payments against all collections and payments of IPO-Pakistan by integrating their line of business application.
