PM Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar Visits Business Facilitation Center Lahore

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar visited the PITB established Business Facilitation Center (BFC) in Lahore, where he was briefed on the various aspects of the BFC and the overall progress. He was accompanied by Punjab Caretaker CM Mohsin Naqvi, Industries Minister, Information Minister, Chief Secretary Punjab, Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Planning & Development Chairman, PITB Chairman, Secretaries Local Govt, Housing, Industries, DG LDA/Commissioner Lahore, CPO Lahore, DIG Operations Lahore, DC Lahore, Chief WTO Punjab and President Chambers Lahore/Gujranwala/Sialkot.

On this occasion, CM Mohsin Naqvi briefed the Prime Minister on BFC's benefits to the business community and the establishment of five new BFCs in Faisalabad, Gujrat, Sialkot, Rawalpindi and Faisalabad. CS Punjab Zahid Akhtar Zaman and Secretary Industries apprised the PM on the working of BFC. PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf spoke about the Knowledge Portal, a comprehensive repository of information about the registrations, permits and licenses relevant to business community.

The Prime Minister appreciated the role of the BFC for the welfare of the business community in the province. PM Kakar was of the view that building institutions on the model of Lahore Business Facilitation Center in other cities of the country will be beneficial for the country's economy.

Uniting 17 Provincial and Federal agencies under one roof, the BFC is the ultimate one-stop solution for entrepreneurs, industries, and businesses, aiming to bolster economic stability and growth. The center offers over 100 services, and is designed to fast-track licenses, registrations, permits, NOCs, and certificates within set timeframes. The initiative promises to streamline processes, support industries, and elevate Punjab's economic landscape.
