PITB and JazzCash have signed an MoU for the bill payment service. The MoU was signed by PITB ADG Khurram Mushtaq and Head of Public Sector Partnerships JazzCash Arif Mahmood Chaudhary.
PITB Project Director Haroon Rasul Khokhar, Head of Development e-Pay Shehzad Mehmood and e-Pay Punjab team members Umar Saleem and Minhaj Khan were also present.
As per the MOU both parties will also explore joint ventures for the digitization of payments across Pakistan. This collaboration will enable JazzCash account holders to pay taxes and fees using PITB developed e-Pay Punjab.
