Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the revamped Emergency Department at Mayo Hospital Lahore.
During the event, PITB Director Health Nausheen Fayyaz along with team members gave a detailed briefing on Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) emphasizing key features aimed at enhancing public service delivery at the Registration, Triage and Nursing Counters, Pharmacy and Laboratory.
CM Punjab was also briefed about Integrated Pathology Machines that assist the hospital management in digitally sending the results to the system.
In this regard Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf said that HMIS is a centralized system that is beneficial for both the hospital management and the patients as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
CM Punjab appreciated the efforts of all stakeholders including PITB for the successful completion of the building and implementation of HMIS.
