Chief Minister Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the revamped Emergency block at Children Hospital Lahore. PITB developed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is deployed at the hospital for smooth operations.
Punjab Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram, PITB Director Health Nausheen Fayyaz along with other senior officials were also present at the event.
In this regard Chairman PITB Faisal Yousaf said that the effective implementation of HMIS signifies a substantial deployment, offering notable advantages. It entails the use of electronic medical records to improve clinical services, benefiting patients, and aiding the hospital management in effective decision-making.
HMIS is beneficial for both the hospital management and the patients, as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
