PITB, in collaboration with Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA), organized e-Procurement training sessions for the Housing, Urban Development & Public Health and Livestock & Dairy Development (L&DD) Departments as part of the broader initiative being implemented across Punjab.
MD Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Waqar Azim gave a detailed presentation on the Procurement Cycle. Secretary HUD & PHE Sajid Zafar Daal was present at the closing ceremony of the session and appreciated PITB's support in this regard.
PITB e-Procurement Team also delivered hands-on training to acquaint the attendees with the system and also addressed their queries and concerns.
The e-Procurement System incorporates modern techniques to make government procurement secure and efficient. Under this system, vendors from anywhere can submit their bids online, making the procurement process more accessible and convenient.
