Punjab CM Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the newly constructed Gujranwala Medical College Teaching Hospital where he was briefed on HMIS by PITB team. Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department Secretary Ali Jan, PITB Joint Director Kumail Rizvi and other senior officials were present on the occasion.
PITB team gave a comprehensive overview to the Chief Minister about the implementation of the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) at the institute.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated, "HMIS is an advanced mechanism that aims at making administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error. It's a centralized system that benefits both the hospital management and the patients as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab."
