Additional IG KP Police & UNDP Visits PITB

Additional IG Police KP and his team met Chairman PITB Dr Umar Saif today. Dr Saif highlighted the latest tech-initiatives taken by PITB in order to streamline police work and improve their work efficiency. He briefed the delegates on various system including Police Station Record Management System, Geo-fencing, Geo-Tagging, Crime-Mapping, Beat Box Management System, Biometric Verification, etc. Faisal Yousaf (Director General, IT Operations), Burhan Rasool (General Manager, IT) and Adil Iqbal Khan (Joint Director, Development & Infrastructure) were also present at the meeting. Dr Saif offered to facilitate KP police in replicating the system for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The delegates were greatly impressed by the innovative ICT interventions devised by PITB that are aiding the government to hamper criminal offences and appreciated Dr Saif for his commitment to carve new avenues to facilitate government.
