CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Diagnostic Department (Radiology) in Nishtar Hospital Multan where he was briefed on the Hospital Management Information System (HMIS).
Specialized Healthcare & Medical Education Department Secretary Ali Jan and other officials were also present.
PITB team gave a comprehensive overview to CM Punjab about the implementation of HMIS at the institute.
In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf stated that HMIS is an advanced mechanism that aims at making administrative workflows easier, reducing chances of human error.
It's a centralized system that benefits both the hospital management and the patients as every patient's data is easily accessible at any HMIS powered hospital across Punjab.
