CM Punjab Mohsin Naqvi has inaugurated the Admin Block and Surgical Block of Services Hospital Lahore, where PITB developed Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is deployed to ensure smooth operations, patient registration and management. Punjab Health Minister Dr. Javed Akram and Secretary Health Ali Jan Khan along with other senior officials were also present at the event.
During the event, PITB team briefed the CM Punjab on the implementation of HMIS and its overall functionality. In this regard, PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said that HMIS is an advanced digital solution that simplifies administrative workflows and minimizes the incidence of human errors.
It is a centralized system that benefits both hospital management and patients, ensuring easy access to patient data across all HMIS-powered hospitals in Punjab.
