PITB team conducted a meeting with KP Police IT DIG Irfan Tariq, IT Director Naveed Gull and Deputy Director Saleem Gul along with other team members to discuss the scope for the department under the Crime Analytics and Smart Policing in Pakistan (CASPP) project.
The participants of the meeting also assessed the current status of application deployments. PITB CASPP Project Director Rai Rashid and SPM Abrar-ul-Haq briefed the KP Police on the rollout plan for applications and the additional operational requirements necessary for the automation of the Police Department.
The PITB team shared their successful experiences in operationalizing applications within other provincial police departments, highlighting the potential benefits of collaboration. The KP Police representatives affirmed their commitment to continuing collaboration with PITB and providing support for the phase-II of the program, underscoring their dedication to advancing technology-driven solutions for law enforcement in the province.
