A project review meeting was chaired by MD Punjab Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Waqar Azim to discuss the upcoming developments in the e-Procurement software. The meeting was held at Federal PPRA Office Islamabad and Executive Director Federal PPRA Tariq Khan and representatives from Abacus were also present.
In this regard, PITB e-Procurement team gave a detailed presentation and a detailed discussion was also held on the wave 2 implementation for smooth execution of the initiative.
The e-Procurement System incorporates modern techniques to make government procurement secure and efficient. Under this system, vendors located anywhere can submit their bids online, making the procurement process more accessible and convenient.
PITB in collaboration with PPRA is also organizing a series of training sessions for various government departments to acquaint them with e-Procurement System.
